We all experience hurt and pain in our story. But your heart wounds don’t have to define your story. God loves you so much, and wants to restore you. He wants to change your story, and see your heart wounds healed.
Heart Wounds Healed is a place that I created with the intention, and prayer, to help and minister to women who follow Jesus; to help them deal with the hurts on their hearts (as the heart is where the connection with Jesus stems from and flourishes), so that they can grow closer and deeper in their relationships with Jesus.
Let’s journey together and encourage each other; let’s find the truth within those painful experiences in our stories.
My name is Nikki Evanson; I’m a wife, mother and—first and foremost—a grateful believer in Jesus Christ.
I have been in a relationship with Christ since my early adulthood years. I was a woman who was greatly hindered by the hurts on my heart from past relationships, events and experiences… but Jesus put a passion on my heart for healing, so that I can walk in greater freedom, and in a deeper relationship with him. To walk in the truth of who I am.
He has been journeying with me in these places of hurt in my heart: transforming my life, and meeting me in places of hardships, hurts and struggles.
Furthermore, as I pursue his will in my life, and desire to grow in greater relationship with him, I seek to glorify his name and help others grow, and be encouraged in, their relationship with him.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.Ezekiel 36:26 (New International Version)
I hope you will find encouragement here; find hope through my story, life, and struggles. To discover, as I did, that God is the Great Counselor in your own life and is the answer, always.
This is a place where I hope you can discover truth and find healing for yourself in your struggles within your heart. And as we share our heart wounds together, we can encourage each other.
God is the mighty source to heal us, and restore us in places of hurt; because he has done so much in my life, I know he will do the same for you.
